

Scott is frequently cited as an expert in trade and consumer publications. He has appeared on national television and radio, and as a guest speaker at veterinary seminars including the O.V.M.A. Annual Convention. Scott is the author of Mueller's Official Puppy Owner Manual as seen on "C.B.S. This Morning." He pioneered and trained the first assistance dogs for the physically challenged and today continues developing new techniques to meet special needs. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Scott and his wife Donna have been married more than 30 years and have three children and 2 grandchildren. Scott is pictured with their German Shepherd, Dallas. |

Chris
Altier, Instructor and Head TrainerChris owned and operated a professional dog care and training business in Chicago for nearly five years. He attended the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers to expand upon his knowledge of dog training and behavior. Chris enjoys Puppy Development, Behavior Problem Solving and Police K-9, to name a few areas of instruction with students and clients. Chris is originally from Wooster, Ohio, and a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. Chris and his wife, Katie, have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, named Stanley and Hannah. |
Michael
Turley, DVMDr. Turley graduated from The Ohio State University in 1978 and established the Hamilton Road Animal Hospital in Columbus. He has been instructing National K-9 students, since the 1980s, about routine canine health issues, including parasites, vaccinations and first aid. Dr. Turley's passion is in preventative medicine. Originally from Columbus, Dr. Turley and his wife Lynn, have two children, Taylor and Morgan and a cat. |
Erin
Koberlein, InstructorErin is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology. Her introduction to the dog world began when she started as a member of the National K-9 kennel staff. She quickly rose to the position of Kennel Supervisor and decided to make dog training her career. After completing our six week course, Erin agreed to stay with us as a trainer/instructor. Her favorite areas of instruction include: Behavior Modification/Problem Solving, Puppy Development and Helping our clients to improve their relationship with their dogs. Erin is originally from N. Canton, Ohio, and has a Golden Retriever named Toby. |
Kim
Brown, School AdministratorKim has a great love of animals and enjoys working with people. She is responsible for the scheduling of our staff of trainers, office functions as well as handling student questions and requests. Kim is an integral part of the family atmosphere at National K-9 and her proficiency is well appreciated by the students, fellow employees and clients alike. Originally from Michigan, Kim and her husband, Jim have a son, David, and two Smooth Fox Terriers, named Dixie and Billie. |
