At National K-9 we take great pride in our state of the art learning and living facilities. 14 years of research went into the facility's layout, which has been praised as being one of the finest in the Western Hemisphere. Designed by school founder, Scott Mueller, working with world-renowned architect, Mike McGee, our center was designed with students and faculty in mind. You will also find this facility to be the cleanest of any facility in the country. We offer the following for your comfort and learning opportunity:

 

  • 11 private dorm rooms and 1 double; we supply each student a room with an initial set of clean linens, bed, pillow, blankets, a desk, large locker, bureau, and lock key.
  • Laundry room; no need to worry about finding a laundromat. National K-9 offers students an on premises laundry room
  • Book and video library; enables students to learn even more in the evening about this fascinating field of dogs.
  • Exercise equipment; for students who want to get into better shape or simply to stay conditioned.
  • Indoor basketball facilities
  • Kitchen facilities; designed to handle multiple students needs with freezer space, two refrigerators, microwaves, mixers, toasters, two large tables, and much more.
  • Student lounge; offers comfortable sofas, television, games, and game table & chairs.
  • 1-acre multi-position outdoor fenced in obstacle course and training field.
  • Indoor training; allowing for inclement weather conditions.
  • Lecture room; offers a small auditorium setting, comfortably seating 18 students in an air-conditioned acoustical room. 30% of student's time is spent in lectures and video screenings.
  • Video room; enables students to view both educational video as well as themselves as taped periodically training dogs. These video tools allow students to learn thing on tape that they couldn't learn any other way.
  • Student kennels; for the convenience of our students we have designed a modern kennel for your dogs to stay when you are not training them. We offer two sizes to accommodate all students' dogs. Our students kennel also offers a food locker for each dog as well as grooming facilities to accommodate your dogs' personal hygiene.
  • Tracking fields; students have access to more than 300 acres of tracking land to practice
