Bob attends numerous seminars and conferences annually to keep up on the latest in ideas and techniques in training and behavior.
Bob has an extensive background in business and business management. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the International Association of Canine Professionals and has attended every annual conference the organization has held. Bob is also a member of the following organizations: National K-9 Dog Trainers Association (NK9DTA) and National Animal Interest Alliance (NAIA).
Bob believes that a dog should be evaluated and judged on an individual basis, not solely by its breed. He has and will continue to oppose Breed Specific Legislation in all of its discriminatory forms.
Bob's favorite areas of instruction are Retrieval, Tracking, Scent Detection, Service Dog Training, Puppy Development and Behavior Modification.
Bob is President of National K-9 Learning Center. He is also the Head Instructor and Director of the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bob has a German Shepherd named Spencer. |

In addition to instructing dog owners and school for dog trainers’ students, Chris is responsible for supervising National K-9's certified trainers and boarding facility. Chris enjoys the following areas of instruction with clients and students; Puppy Preschool, Behavior Problem Solving, Obedience Training, Utility, Personal Protection, and Police K-9 functions. He has previous experience training dogs and their handlers for both law enforcement and handicapped assistance. Chris also regularly speaks to outside groups of adults and children about dog training and behavior.
Before joining the National K-9 staff, Chris established and operated his own professional dog care and training business in Chicago. He attended the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers during this period to expand upon his knowledge of dog training and behavior. Chris continues his education by attending training and behavior related workshops, conferences, and seminars.
Chris is a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and the National K-9 Dog Trainers Association. He is also an evaluator for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test.
Chris is originally from Wooster, Ohio and received a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. Chris and his wife, Katie, have two children and three dogs; a Belgian Malinois, named Boomer, and two Pembroke Welsh Corgis, named Stanley and Hannah. Stanley is a certified therapy dog that makes visits to Columbus area hospitals and nursing homes. |

Animals have always played a major role in Carrie's life and she knew from an early age that she wanted to pursue a career working with animals. Carrie spent nearly five years as a veterinary assistant and a kennel staff member at a local veterinarian. This love for animals, especially dogs, led her to pursue an interest in becoming a professional dog trainer. She completed the six-week trainer course and soon after was invited to join the National K-9 staff.
Her favorite areas of instruction include Puppy Development, Obedience Training, Behavior Problem Solving, Personal Protection, and Tracking. Carrie is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and the National K-9 Dog Trainers Association. She is also an evaluator for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test.
Carrie and her husband, Joshua, have a daughter and two dogs; German Shepherd rescue named J.D. and a shelter rescued Shepherd mix named Benny. They also have two cats. |

Erica has had a lifelong interest in dogs and they have played a major role in her life. She began training her first dog in 4-H training at age 9. She attended the Ohio State University for a short period before completing National K-9's six-week trainer course. Upon graduation Erica was asked to join the National K-9 staff.
Erica is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and the National K-9 Dog Trainers Association. She is interested in Obedience Training, Puppy Preschool, and Personal Protection Training with clients and students. She is also an evaluator for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test.
She is originally from Saint Marys, Ohio. She currently has a three dogs; a German Shepherd named Natan, a shelter rescued mixed breed named Jackson, and a Papillon/Chihuahua mix named Fenix. |

Jerrod has had a lifelong fascination with dogs and their interaction with humans. This interest led him to National K-9 where he completed the six-week trainer course. Soon after graduation Jerrod was asked to join the National K-9 staff.
He is particularly interested in Obedience Training, Puppy Development Preschool, Scent Detection, Personal Protection, and Police K-9 Training with clients and students. Jerrod is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and the National K-9 Dog Trainers Association. He is also an evaluator for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Test.
Jerrod is originally from Columbus, Ohio and he currently owns a mix breed rescue named Sam. |

Dr. Turley has been instructing National K-9 School for Dog Trainer students since the 1980's. Dr. Turley’s lectures include information regarding routine canine health issues, parasites, vaccinations and canine first aid. He is also eager to answer any canine health related questions students may have. Dr. Turley's passion is in preventative medicine.
He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1978 and then established the Hamilton Road Animal Hospital. Originally from Columbus, Dr. Turley and his wife Lynn, have two children, Taylor and Morgan. The Turley family also has a Golden Retriever named Briscoe and one cat. |

Lisa is responsible for scheduling National K-9’s staff of trainers and taking care of our boarding clients. She is also responsible for the administration of the School for Dog Trainers and handling student questions and inquiries.
Lisa is originally from Olathe, Kansas and has always enjoyed being around animals. While growing up in a country setting she enjoyed the company of horses and many dogs. While attending Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, Lisa also worked for a veterinary hospital.
Lisa and her husband, Matt, have two children named Morgan and Mark. Her family currently has a German Shepherd named Sasha and two cats. |
